HOW TO PRAY

Praying is an extremely powerful way to initiate change.

However, the combination of fasting and prayer is a powerhouse of energy that God will surely be forced to respond to.

But how we pray, is very important, to be sure that our prayers are the most beneficial.

Steps to the Most Powerful Prayers:

1. Give Thanks. Begin all prayers with thanks. This facilitates the flow of God's energy to you. Praying with thanks, ensures an instant connection to God. An example would be, "Thank you God, for everything you are doing for us. Thank you for always hearing our prayers. Thank you for stopping the oil spill in the Gulf."

2. Lead into asking for what you want. You want to be sure the flow of God is upon you before asking for what you want, and you can do this best by beginning with prayers of thanks, then LEAD INTO asking for what you are needing, as in the above example.

3. Be Conscious of your thoughts. Always stay on the positive side. Do not use negative thoughts or negative words in your prayers. For example,

DO NOT PRAY..
"Don't let the oceans get damaged, God. Don't kill the animals. Don't let evil win."

Instead, PRAY..
"Thank you God, for saving the oceans, God. Thank you for saving all the animals and restoring the Gulf to perfection. Thank you for your victory over all evil."

4. Have Faith. No prayers are going to work unless you BELIEVE them. If you do not have the faith, then PRAY to God and ask for the faith.

5. Visualize. Visualization is a very powerful way of praying. You can imagine the oil being blocked up, and imagine that the flow out has been stopped. You can imagine also the people doing the right thing, getting the proper ideas and knowledge and desire to plug the leak. Imagine that the people involved in the spill, will get touched by God and make the right decisions. Visualize this in your mind's eye, over and over.

6. Pray in groups. Prayer in groups is THE most powerful form of prayer. Praying and Fasting in a group is an electric bolt of Godly energy. Therefore, initiate prayer groups within your communities and religious organizations as often as possible so God will hear our S.O.S. and Stop the Oil Spill.

7. Praying at the same time. Praying with others at the same time, even if not in the same physical place, has a strong effect as well. So if you can organize with others at any time, to fast and pray on the same day, and coordinate specific prayer times with them, this is highly beneficial.

8.Pray for Forgiveness. No matter who you are or what religion you are, everyone should pray for forgiveness daily. When we ask God to forgiveness, he sheds his mercy upon us. Praying to God to forgive us, will help even with the Oil Spill.

9. End prayer again with thanks. Begin and end with thanks to God for all the blessings in your life.

Prayer is a way of talking to God. Speak to God as if he is a friend. However, in a case like this, it is important to pray in a positive manner, and eliminate negative thoughts and energies from our prayers.

We need to see in our minds the ocean as being restored. We need to see the animals being clean and fleeing from danger. We need to see the hole being plugged. We need to stay focused on what we want, not what we do NOT want.

Only through our concentrated and group efforts is there any hope of making change, as God has told me.

We can do this! God WILL hear our S.O.S and Stop the Oil Spill!
