As you know, the oil spill in the Gulf as it is right now has the capacity to destroy all of the world's oceans and marine life permanently, devastate the world economy, and many other unspeakable things.
I know, I cannot sit idly by anymore watching this happen not doing anything.
We must try to stop this.
Most people feel we do not have the power or the means to intervene. And honestly, they are right.
But God does.
With God, nothing is impossible.
For whatever reason you believe this is happening, and I have my own opinions, it just doesn't matter at this point.
What matters is trying to make it stop.
Sadly, one person's prayers is not going to be enough. Even several people's prayers scattered here and there at random is not going to work.
As I cried to God praying for Him to stop it, he revealed to me that the only way to Stop the Oil Spill is through continual fasting and prayer everyday until it is contained.
But it can't just be me. We need thousands and thousands of people.
Obviously, it must be an organized effort.
God told me that there must be a constant stream of people praying and fasting everyday. God did give me an amount but I I do not want to suggest it here because I do not want to limit how many people should participate.
Obviously, the more the better. We need to gain energetic momentum through fasting and prayer to stop the negativity.
It may seem like a lot of people to some of you, but think about it..there are BILLIONS of people on the planet. 10,000 really is not that much.
God directed me to organize this global fasting and prayer effort to STOP the OIL SPILL. S.O.S. He even gave me the name S.O.S.
At first I avoided His direction to do this because of my own reasons, and the guilt was weighing heavy. Everyday went by and nothing changed in the news about the spill. And each night since God told me how to stop it, I have dreamt of being near the ocean. Today, I decided I could no longer ignore His calling to me.
Don't you ignore His direction either.
This is YOUR chance to participate in a global effort of S.O.S. to Stop the Oil Spill. This is a world-wide calling to all of humanity who wishes to participate, from all religions, creeds, and backgrounds.
Directions For You to - S.O.S.- STOP the OIL SPILL:
There are 3 different kinds of fasting. Fasting is typically done for 24 straight hours.
You can read more about fasting in the following blog post called HOW TO FAST.
Fasting, is an abstinence of food, and is known in every religion of the world to be able to initiate change, purification, as well as to answer heart felt prayers.
If you are sick, please consult your doctor before fasting.
Please select one type of fast you will participate in:
Total Fast: Complete lack of BOTH food AND water
Water/Liquid Fast: No food but drinks water/juice
Fruit Fast: No solid food but will eat ONLY fruit drink little water
The point of fasting is to acquire the Grace of God. So the less food you are able to eat, the better. However, you must listen to your body and know your limits.
I am not suggesting to go on an extended fast. I am suggesting that you select ONE maybe TWO DAYS a week to which you can commit over the next few months. The more often you can fast and pray, the better, but do not put yourself in physical jeopardy.
To the right you will see a calendar that lists each day from now until September.
Choose a day, any day, from now until September that you can fast and pray. IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE SELECT MORE THAN ONE DAY.
On that day, post a comment that says:
"God WILL Stop the Oil Spill!"-your name, country, email, and type of fast
EXAMPLE...
"God WILL Stop the Oil Spill!"-Judy, U.K., judy@gmail.com WATER FAST
This blog will help to keep track of how many people are participating each day. To see how many people have signed up for each day, simply scroll to the bottom and see how many people have posted on that day.
If you notice that a lot of people have signed up on one day, but not another, please try to choose the day that needs more people to fill the minimum of at least 10,000 a day.
This will be advertised mostly via email that I expect will rapidly circulate around the world, so please tell everyone you know and urge them to participate. Forward this site to your churches, community, and organizations.
